Our Story

Splinter & Spark was founded in Troup, Texas, by a small team of passionate woodworkers who believe that true craftsmanship takes time and care. What began as weekend projects in a garage has grown into a dedicated workshop focused on creating heirloom-quality furniture, lighting, and custom laser-engraved pieces.

Every item starts with the careful selection of premium hardwoods — walnut, cherry, oak, and maple. We take pride in knowing the story behind each board and how its unique grain will tell a story once finished.

Our Process

We don’t rush. Furniture and lamps are built using traditional joinery methods. We hand-shape, sand, and finish each piece with multiple coats of oil and protective finishes, allowing the natural beauty of the wood to shine through. Our laser engraving is done with surgical precision, creating clean, detailed designs that range from meaningful quotes to intricate logos.
